Directions
🔪 INGREDIENTS:
- 1 or 2 FWC ribeye, sirloin, or NY strip steaks (1 to 1.5 inches thick)
- 1 tbsp. oil of choice or FWC Beef Tallow
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Optional: Butter and fresh herbs (like thyme or rosemary) for topping
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Bring Steak to Room Temp
Take the steak out of the fridge 20–30 minutes before cooking to help it cook evenly. - Preheat the Air Fryer
Preheat to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes. - Season the Steak
Pat steaks dry with paper towels. Rub both sides with oil and season generously with salt, pepper and optional spices. - Air Fry
Place steak in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook at 400°F:- Medium-rare: 8–10 minutes (flip halfway)
- Medium: 10–12 minutes
(Exact time depends on thickness and air fryer model)
- Check Doneness
Use a meat thermometer:- Rare: 125°F (52°C)
- Medium-rare: 135°F (57°C)
- Medium: 145°F (63°C)
- Rest the Steak
Let it rest for 5–10 minutes on a plate, loosely covered with foil. Add a pat of butter or herbs if desired. - Enjoy with your favorite sides :)
Tips:
Don't overcrowd the basket—cook in batches if needed.
For extra flavor, marinate the steak ahead of time (1–2 hours or overnight)
