Philly Cheesesteak
Juicy, pasture-raised beef from Faithway Cattle piled high with caramelized onions, peppers, and melted provolone, all tucked into a toasted hoagie roll. A ranch-raised twist on the classic Philly favorite—hearty, savory, and downright satisfying.

Directions

 Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Faithway Cattle roast beef
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 large green bell pepper (optional), thinly sliced
  • 8 slices provolone cheese (or more if you want it extra cheesy)
  • 4 hoagie rolls (or sub rolls)
  • 2 tbsp butter or olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional, but adds a nice umami kick)
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

 Instructions:

1. Prep the Veggies

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add 1 tbsp of butter or oil.
  • Sauté the onion and bell pepper for about 8–10 minutes until soft and lightly browned.
  • Season with a pinch of salt & pepper.

2. Heat the Roast Beef

  • Push veggies to one side of the pan.
  • Add the sliced roast beef and warm it through (2–3 minutes).
  • Stir in the Worcestershire sauce if using.
  • Mix the beef and veggies together.

3. Add the Cheese

  • Divide the mixture into 4 portions right in the pan.
  • Top each portion with 2 slices of provolone cheese.
  • Cover the pan with a lid or foil and let the cheese melt (1–2 mins).

4. Toast the Rolls (Optional but Recommended)

  • Split and lightly butter the hoagie rolls.
  • Toast them in a separate pan or under a broiler until golden.

5. Assemble & Serve

  • Scoop each cheesy beef portion into a toasted roll.
  • Serve immediately with chips, fries, or coleslaw.

 Tips:

  • Want that classic Philly feel? Swap provolone for white american cheese
  • Prefer a spicier kick? Add sautéed jalapenos
