Fresh No-Cook Cranberry Relish
October 30, 2024 • 0 comments
This fresh no-cook cranberry relish combines tangy cranberries, sweet orange, and optional walnuts for a quick, vibrant side dish ready in just 10 minutes.
- Prep Time:
- Servings: 8-10
Ingredients
- (12 oz) Fresh or frozen cranberries
- (1) Medium orange, cut into small wedges (with rind), seeds removed
- (1 1/2 cups) Granulated sugar, or more or less to taste
- (1/4 cup) Finely chopped walnuts (optional)
Directions
- Place cranberries and sliced orange in a food processor and blend until the fruit is chopped small but still chunky. If desired, remove any large pieces of rind that didn't chop up small enough.
- Transfer cranberry orange mixture to a large bowl. Add sugar and walnuts to the bowl, toss and stir thoroughly until sugar has dissolved into the fruit juice.
- Serve as desired. Enjoy!
For the best results, I recommend making this relish no more than 24 hours in advance.
This homemade relish can be kept in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to five to seven days. However, this time frame might change slightly depending on the freshness of your ingredients.
